Anatomically, 18 muscles attach to the shoulder blades ("shoulder blades"), but most people are not even aware of how to manipulate the shoulder blades! These scapular risers are an excellent mobility exercise to loosen and strengthen the muscles around the upper back and increase awareness of the shoulder blades. It's one of my favorite things to do before starting every single workout!
