Your personal trainer in Catania

The time you train yourself changes your biological clock. Exercise can have an impact on our body's biological clock depending on the time of day or evening it is practiced.
Researchers examined circadian body rhythms after exercise in 101 participants for up to five days. The 'base time' of each participant's body clock was determined from urine samples collected every 90 minutes to measure the evening increase in melatonin and its peak a few hours later.

This study has found that those who train at 7 am or between 1 and 4 pm move their biological clock a few hours before, while those who train between 7 pm and 10 pm otherwise it delays the movement of the hands.
The discovery was made by researchers from California, San Diego and Arizona State University with a study published today in The Journal of Physiology.

Those who go to the gym from seven in the morning to eight and between 13 and 16 move their internal biological clock a few hours before. Those who train after 7 pm, on the other hand, delay the hands an hour later.

The circadian rhythm is the 24-hour cycle that regulates many physiological processes including sleep and hunger. Many factors affect this internal clock including the light and the temperature of the room

Training before going to work or during the lunch break is ideal because in this way the movement of our internal biological clock it has no impact on sleep and we have the whole day to recover the right rhythm

after 6 pm - the expert continues - you could have problems with insomnia because physical activity stimulates the production of adrenaline which induces excitement
